This week in worship we find King David on his deathbed. What are his final words and instructions? We’re going to find out that he has a lot of things that he can’t let go of. Aren’t we like that too, holding on to past hurts and grudges? Let’s learn together.

Have you ever been caught up in something that you know is wrong but you just can’t seem to help yourself? That’s where we find King David this week, deeply embroiled in a scandal of his own making. Can he remain in God’s favor in the midst of sin? Listen and find out!

This week, as David is crowned King of Israel, he offers all glory and praise to God. He even asks, “who am I that you have brought me here?” We take a look at David’s rise to the throne and his humility at the power before him. What kind of king will David be? We're going to find out today!

The story continues this week where we find David is being hunted by the leader of his beloved nation!  How can we tune out the voices of the world in favor of the voice of God, our Audience of One? Pastor David explores this Old Testament story.

How often are we jealous of someone who has more than we have? In this week’s sermon, we see King Saul become angry over accolades that were given to David instead of rejoicing at David’s accomplishments. We’ll also take a look at our own situations and how we can rejoice at others’ achievements, building them up instead of comparing ourselves to them. 

Just as the shepherd boy, David, faced the giant, Goliath, we face giants in our lives that threaten to overcome us. Through this famous story, Pastor David takes a look at the help that is to be found in the living God, and what to remember when overcoming the hard times in life.

We begin a new series on the life of David – the shepherd, the psalmist, the one who battled Goliath, the one who became king, and the one who messed up so profoundly. Pastor David begins today with a look at David’s anointing. What criteria do you use to choose a leader? Find out the criteria God used to call David as the King of Israel.
