Welcome to the first Sunday of Advent, where we prepare our hearts for the Christmas season. This week, Pastor David takes a look at the promise of Emmanuel, given through the prophet Isaiah. Are you letting circumstances dictate your response, or are you waiting for God to speak? 

What are you thankful for? This is a Sunday as we approach Thanksgiving, we pause to appreciate all good gifts, not just things, that we have been given this year. Be thankful with us this week!

God wants you to be happy, right? Actually, the Bible doesn’t say so. In fact, the Bible says that we will have struggles and hard times, but God will be with us. Check out worship this week as Pastor Dana finishes our series on “NOT IN THERE: Things You Think the Bible Says (But it Doesn’t.)”

“God won’t give you more than you can handle.” Has someone told you that before, perhaps at a time that you feel like you’ve actually been given more than you can bear? This statement is not actually in the Bible! God didn’t make this promise, but God did make several other promises that we can rely on in times of trouble. Tune in and hear all about these promises and how to rely on God when times get tough.

In a fractured world, so fraught with violence, tragic events, and unrelenting uncertainty, we are so in need of a time to come together and recommit ourselves to being God’s instruments of peace. This service provides different voices from Unity focused on the topic of peace.

The Bible says you have to be good to get into heaven, right? Actually, it doesn’t! Turns out that good people don’t go to heaven… but redeemed people do! This is the second week of our series NOT IN THERE: Things you think the Bible says (but it doesn’t.)

Everything happens for a reason… or does it? We start a new series this week on things you think the Bible says, but it doesn’t! So what does the Bible actually have to say about why things happen? Pastor David takes a look through the Bible to enlighten us.

This is the final week of our Strange Story series, where Pastor Dana takes a look at the story of the widow who fed Elijah the very last of the food she had. From that act of trust and kindness, she was miraculously blessed. Are we willing to trust God in all situations? Or do we hold back, fearing that we will not have enough for ourselves? How will you respond?

Today, our strange story comes from the book of Genesis, where the people of the earth worked together to build a great city and a tower that reached to the heavens. As we celebrate World Communion Sunday, we will look at God's vision of our world.
